Every year, Chanticleer , an all-male a cappella group, sings in front of the Christmas tree in the medieval sculpture court at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I was able to go last Thursday and had the most fun at a concert that I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. The concert was a mix of western and eastern sacred music, with a flourish of spirituals at the end. Biebl’s “Ave Maria” served as an encore and is below for your viewing pleasure.
