This unfriendly article isn’t completely right. Nonetheless, it is right enough on the observation that the TEA PARTY conservatives have abandoned Rick for reasons that couldn’t be remedied by better debating. So his Texas baggage alienated him, ironically, from both the moderates and the (very) conservatives.
