I will be appearing on two nationally syndicated radio programs this week to talk about my new book and the animal rights movement. First up, the Dennis Prager Show tomorrow during the 9 O’ Clock AM hour (Pacific). Times may differ in your area, or you can hear the program streamed live by following this link.
On Friday, animal rights leader Gary Francione and I duke it out on the Michael Medved Show, which airs from 12-3 (Pacific), times may vary in your area. I am not sure the time it will air, so check the Web site if you are interested in tuning in.
Onward.
Dear Reader,
Can I be direct with you?
War abroad. Socialists on the rise. AI upending human life. Endless uproar online. The modern attention economy doesn’t want readers — it wants users enslaved to the tyranny of the present.
First Things is the antidote: literary excellence, timeless truths, and a fixed point of reference in a culture that has lost its bearings.
But we can’t do it without readers like you.
Our goal: Raise $150,000 by November 1 to sustain First Things in the year ahead.
Your gift anchors readers in the permanent things.
