This sampling of the Lee Greenwood classic country tune IS what many a supporter of Romney felt yesterday in Floyd County, GA.
Lots of people—random people in town, students, and the very few faculty who intend to vote Romney—came up to me just to ask “Did you SEE the debate?”. They wanted to VALIDATE that I saw what they saw. (“Do you see what I see?”) The debate was some kind of miracle. OUR GUY, for once, didn’t make us cringe. He stood up for himself. He looked and sounded more like a president than the president.
Another trending fact: THE TODAY SHOW opened yesterday all Obama protective. Today, it’s all about laughing—using John Stewart—about how badly Obama did. A great clip shows how Romney won with the sound on and the sound off.
