Perry Studies: The Bachmann Attack

So I’ve been thinking about John’s suggestion that Bachmann attack Perry on the conservative authenticity thing.  So let’s take the issues of the Trans-Texas Corridor, the Texas Enterprise Fund etc. and the HPV vaccine thing.  Her attacks could look something like this:

“President Obama says the government can make you buy health insurance.  Governor Perry believes the government can take your house whenever the government thinks they have a better use for your home.  President Obama wants to pick winners and losers in the marketplace though cap-and-trade and bailouts.  Governor Perry tries to pick winners and losers by creating slush funds that give taxpayer money to connected corporations and his campaign contributors.  President Obama wants to take health care decisions out of the hands of patients.  Governor Perry tried to take health decisions out of the hands of parents by forcing all girls to take a new vaccine.  We need a limited government that won’t try to take your home., won’t give your tax money to government-approved businesses and won’t violate your family’s privacy and right to choose treatments for your children.”

The thing is, even if you phrased it better, would any substantial body of voters be convinced by such an attack?  I tend to doubt it.
