1. There’s another poll confirming the modestly significant Santorum surge in Iowa. Not only are Rick and Ron both authentic, they are both very well organized and have put huge face time in Iowa. The polls show Romney and Paul tied, but that means Ron has a slight edge with the enthusiasm and organization advantages. But maybe we’re looking at close to a 3-way tie. The only mo’ there is, after all, is with Santorum.
2. Huntsman has a toughly negative ad against Paul and his newsletters on the web. But the bigger news is that Paul, quite unlike Newt and Mitt, is not under savage media attack otherwise. That means, of course, that nobody yet is taking Paul seriously as a possible nominee.
