The euthanasia legalization bill, C-384 (which SHS covered here), was soundly defeated in the Canadian Parliament today by a heartening vote of 228-59. There seem to be no news stories on this except on pro life sites. Hmmm. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. In the meantime, congratulations to Alex Schadenberg of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition and all the other Canadian groups and individuals who worked so hard to achieve this sterling result.
