From Hammer to Hoofer

As the Republican Majority Leader in the House of Representatives, Tom Delay earned the nickname the “The Hammer” for his enforcement of party discipline in close votes and his reputation for taking political retribution on opponents. Now we’ll get to see Delay’s soft side—and nimble feet—as he joins the cast of ABC’s ” Dancing with the Stars .”

If I wanted to watch Congressman shed their dignity and sense of decorum on television I’d watch C-Span. But I have to admit that I’ll be tuning in just to see if Delay will don parachute pants and break it down to MC Hammer’s ” U Can’t Touch This .”
