Orthodox and Anglicans interested in Orthodox-Anglican relations will want to know about the North American conference sponsored by the Fellowship of Ss. Alban and Sergius. It is being held from September 8th to 10th at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in Yonker’s, just north of New York City.
It begins with a free public lecture by Metropolitan Kallistos Ware, the author of the classic The Orthodox Church who has been co-chairman of the Orthodox-Anglican Dialogue since 2008. Through the rest of the conference, Orthodox and Anglicans associated with the Anglican Church of North American, the conservative side of the division in the Episcopal Church, will be giving papers on the relations of the two traditions.
