Yesterday in a comment here I asked for prayer for Michael Spencer, the ubiquitous Internet Monk, for his on-going health issues. I did so in a rather off-handed way which came across as less than sincere, and for that I apologize: he’s a husband and a father, and a friend to many people, and I honestly meant no offense, though I did offend. I apologize for the offense and the glibness over a man’s health.
I bring it up because, while I don’t have the details, Michael’s health hasn’t improved any. There are some (reliable, but vague) reports that he’s worse than originally diagnosed. With that in mind, please pray for Michael, his wife and family. Pray that his doctors have wisdom, and that God grants him mercy and healing.
Anything else I would say will be taken the wrong way. Pray about this today as you think about it.
