And so, we’ve come to this,
a new beginning in an end,
and celebrate the way we did
just days ago, gathered close
in that small room, what we
did not then know—that He
would go, but come again,
this morning, when we’d lost
almost all hope. We’d bowed
our heads, confessed to sin,
determined to go on somehow
—and then this blinding glow.
