Fr. Neuhaus on Catholic and Orthodox Reconciliation

One of the perks of being a junior fellow here is that it opens doors to interesting events. This morning I was fortunate to visit St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, where the Fellowship of St. Alban and St. Sergius are hosting a conference called “Rome, Constantinople and Canterbury, Mother Churches?” I was able to hear the end of Fr. John Erickson’s talk, “Primacy and Primacies in the Orthodox Church,” which was followed by Fr. Neuhaus’ “Reconciliation between East and West: Eschatological Hope and Temporal Urgency.” The folks at Ancient Faith Radio, the online Orthodox radio station, have been on hand to record the talks and are posting them online. Click here for the web page with recordings of all the talks (and more to come as the conference progresses) and here for just the recording of Fr. Neuhaus’.
