Which Vulgate?

The Stuttgart edition, printed per cola et commata, and including variant readings?

Or the Nova Vulgata?

Or what about the Clementine Vulgate?

Recommendations, anyone?

More Vulgate conversation here.

I can’t really rate anything in this post, but I wonder if I can host an informal poll here. I can’t figure out right now how to post one of those easy-click web polls, but if you’ve got a preference for a particular version of the Vulgate, do leave a comment and let the rest of us know. If we wind up with any kind of results to speak of, I’ll post them.

NB: I&C will be hitting the road for Memphis, Tennessee, this week, so blogging here will be light over the next ten days or so. I’m taking my camera, the better to share with you any curiosities I might happen to encounter.
