Well, I Could Be Wrong…

Here’s a tough email I got from a respected expert:

I know it’s not good to be all publicly gloom and doom. But your speculations on the Romney v. Obama race are totally pie in the sky. In my professional opinion, this race is already over, with Romney going down in Bob Dole fashion. Show me a “moderate” GOP presidential candidate since Eisenhower to win the presidency. (I would grant George H.W. Bush, but add that he was riding Reagan’s coat tails. And capitalizing on having the worst opponent in modern presidential elections history, save possibly McGovern.)
