Tocqueville on Our Middle-Class Puritans (and the UNITED WAY)

So this afternoon at 530 I’m giving a talk to the Tocqueville Society (the really big givers) of the Atlanta United Way. It’s at the Druid Hills Country Club and you’re invited to come (I just found out). You don’t have to instantly become a big giver. Here’s something close to the text of the talk, just in case you can’t make it. After you read it, you should graze through the fabulous Law and Liberty website. There’s a huge amount of good stuff there.
