The Tournament of Novels 2011 – Round 4

Round three was dominated by blowouts—and not much else.

Blowouts : Pride and Prejudice terminated War and Peace with extreme prejudice (54 to 39 percent); A Tale of Two Cities ended Don Quixote ‘s quixotic quest for the title (51 to 41 percent); Heart of Darkness showed the horror to East of Eden (58 to 27 percent); and in the biggest margin of the round, The Hobbit kicked Brave New World out of the shire and out of the running (67 to 28 percent).
