Admittedly, Mr. Kurzweil is our most out-there techno-optimist . But it does make you think that maybe our worry about “peak oil” and nuclear meltdowns is all just a phase. I’m still not looking for a techno-collapse, although I’m somwhat worried about the various uses to which nanotechnology can be put.
