Benjamin Myers is an American poet and essayist. He was the 2015–16 Poet Laureate of Oklahoma and authored three books of nonfiction and four books of poetry, including The Family Book of Martyrs. His poems often center around his home of Oklahoma and the mystery of humanity and place. He is a professor of literature and director of the Great Books Honors Program at Oklahoma Baptist University.
