Dangerous Extroverts

Even more dangerous is the tendency of evangelical churches to unintentionally exalt extroverted qualities as the “ideals” of faithfulness. Too often “ideal” Christians are social and gregarious, with an overt passion and enthusiasm.

The problem with this, besides putting people who can’t stop talking in charge of our churches, is that still waters run deep, while bubbling brooks are shallow.
