Cry Wolf

“A charming and chilling fable”: So says Fr. Richard John Neuhaus about Paul Lake’s new novel, Cry Wolf , released this weekend. You might know Paul’s name from the First Things’ poetry section , of which he is the editor and occasional contributor. Here, however, he steps into new literary pastures—Green Pastures Farm, to be precise—with an eerie and thought-provoking political fable, an Orwellian allegory for post-9/11 America. More to come in a future issue of FT, but for now, order your copy and let the summer reading begin.
