A last-minute addition to my travels near Boston:
I mentioned last week that I’ll be giving a poetry reading on Saturday, March 14, at 3:00 p.m. at Jabberwocky Bookshop , 50 Water Street, Newburyport, Massachusetts.
Some Readers of First Things in Wellesley saw the announcement and asked if I could come over later that day to speak about Catholic Culture in America . And how could I pass up the opportunity?
The talk, followed by a question-and-answer session, will be Saturday, March 14th, at 7:00 p.m., in the social hall (lower level) at St. John the Evangelist , 9 Glen Road, Wellesley, Massachusetts. I’m told that’s out Washington Street/Route 16, near the Newton-Wellesley line.
So if you’re up around Boston on March 14, come out—either for the poetry at 3:00 in Newburyport or the talk on Catholic culture at 7:00 in Wellesley. Or come to both. I’m planning to.
