Next Saturday, the Center for Catholic Studies at Nassau Community College on Long Island is holding a conference on Catholic Social Thought, Social Science and Social Policy . The center is run by Dr. Joseph Varacalli , one of the founders of the Society of Catholic Social Scientists. I hope to be there, though not, I admit, till about noon.
