Recognizing Real Courage

Good point, Ryan : Saletan’s metaphor—that the work of abortionists is as courageous as that of soldiers in combat—is bogus. Of course the only thing they share in common is that they involve violence. What they don’t share in common is a real enemy attack.

And yet, as Sean Curnyn keenly points out, some people give greater recognition to the abortionist than to the soldier. What does it tell us when that’s the stance of our commander in chief?
