Dear Readers,
We have wrapped up our spring fundraising campaign, and I am happy to report that it was a success. Our goal: to raise $500,000. The result: $545,749.
This is our best result ever for our spring campaign, an increase of nearly 10 percent over last year.
The first thing to say is, thank you! First Things is fortunate to have generous readers who believe in our mission.
The second thing to say is that our financial health matters because what we do matters. First Things speaks religiously, confidently, and with attention to the real issues that affect our religious communities and our society.
Along with the entire staff at First Things, I pledge to remain faithful to our shared commitments. We will illuminate the spiritual challenges we face and renew the moral and religious foundations of our culture.
Thank you again for your support.
Sincerely,
R. R. Reno, Editor
First Things
