Our friend Samuel Levine and the Touro Law Centers Jewish Law Institute (which he directs) is offering its Fall 2012 Distinguished Lecture, A Comparative Look at Jewish Law and Civil Procedure,” given by Rabbi Yona Reiss. An experienced attorney, Rabbi Reiss is dean of the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary and former director of the Beth Din of America, the largest rabbinical court in the United States.
The lecture will be given at the Center, located on Touro Law School’s campus in Central Islip, New York, on Friday, September 21, 2012, from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Details are available here .
