I’m in the slightly uncomfortable position of pointing this morning to the new “On the Square” without being able to use the word “commend,” since I wrote it. (My parents were big on “Don’t point to yourself” and the lesson stuck.) So: please read Spirituality Without Spirits .
I’d be particularly interested in the thoughts of anyone who thinks there is something to be said for this kind of “spirituality.” I haven’t a “spiritual” bone in my body, and wonder if I’m being unfair to people who, however muddled their statements, really do feel and see something good. The odds are against it, but it’s possible.
