So why don’t we talk about lanyards? Here, to my left, are some.
Yep, lanyards. That’s what those are.
Lanyards.
Yep.
Oh. I see some more over there.
Those are lanyards, too.
I think they say the same thing the others do, only the letters are closer together. And these don’t seem to come in pink or purple or anything like that.
But they’re still lanyards.
Here is a smaller picture of a lanyard. It’s a green lanyard on a red background.
This lanyard says something different. It says, “F.R.O.G.” I don’t think they mean like the amphibian. It seems to be some kind of religious code. Like a fish, but you know, not.
But it’s still a lanyard.
So, it’s been nice, talking about lanyards, and . . . stuff. Like more lanyards.
You have yourself a nice afternoon, and if you want some lanyards, you know where to get them.

You can’t really rate a lanyard — it’s either a lanyard or it’s not. But I tried.
You have a decision to make: double or nothing.
For this week only, a generous supporter has offered to fully match all new and increased donations to First Things up to $60,000.
In other words, your gift of $50 unlocks $100 for First Things, your gift of $100 unlocks $200, and so on, up to a total of $120,000. But if you don’t give, nothing.
So what will it be, dear reader: double, or nothing?
Make your year-end gift go twice as far for First Things by giving now.
