Washington citizens didn’t clamor for assisted suicide in their state. They were minding their own business when it was brought to them by the international euthanasia movement, aided and abetted by their super rich former governor, Booth Gardner. Joel Connelly has some of the dollars spent, that literally came from all around the world, targeting his state for the culture of death. From his column,”Assisted Suicide Wins Sheer Gall Award:” Out-of state-donors have given life to the campaign for assisted suicide.
And of course a lot of the out of state money from euthanasia groups came, in turn, from other out-of-state foundations of the sort controlled by George Soros.
Judy Sebba, an educator at the University of Suffix in England, gave $253,555. Loren Parks, a Nevada businessman, put in $250,000. Compassion in Choices, based in Denver, has given $185,000. Oregon Death with Dignity put in $100,000. A Compassion & Choices political action committee turned over $626,500 to the campaign—all of it from out of state. Andrew Ross, described as a Columbus, Ohio, inventor, put in $400,000.
The euthanasia movement is international. It is indomitable. It wants what it wants. It is willing to put a lot of money into getting it. Witness the new assisted suicide law that out-of-staters spent so much to attempt to purchase in Washington. We;ll see if they succeed.
