      Yes. Inevitably followed by squashed expectations: “Why didn’t he give me a job? Why didn’t he pay for my health care? Why is crime still happening? Why doesn’t it rain lollipops and snickers bars? Why hasn’t Jesus Christ returned on a cloud of glory to say well done my good and faithful politician?”
