<description>Colson spoke at the Yokefellows Conference in 1978. When Dean Orr brought him into Jones House where he was lodging, I was studying in the basement which housed the Yokefellow Academy Library. When I heard his voice, I quickly picked up my books and headed out the basement exit, being sure that the dean would show him the library. I have long rued my timidity. But I have followed and supported his ministry ever since then.

This mindset, &quot;that Christian political involvement [is] for the purpose of saving America rather than for being faithful to a God who sovereignly works out his purposes throughout the world,&quot; effects our thoughts on many fronts.
