This girl no doubt is trying to “break society’s chains” as you said. Sex columns in college papers and this passionate desire to break these chains are so pervasive to almost be cliche. It’s such an obvious desire to be transgressive that I can’t take people like her seriously (even though, I admit, many sadly do).

But I’ll disagree on one point, Tom. Sandusky didn’t lose control. In fact, if what he did was as extensive as we’re finding out, the chilling fact is that he was in control, that he knew what he was doing, and that he fostered that perversion within himself for years.

But you’re right that it’s the victims who have had no control from the start, all of which is unbelievably disturbing and depressing.
