We don't often, and I think we're probably the poorer for it (though, even knowing that, I can't make myself wish for it). I've certainly taken some painful mocking and slandering in my time (as anyone will eventually who speaks out about Christ), and while it can be difficult, it's obviously nothing compared to the real suffering of people like Wurmbrand.

To bring this home, Amy, to you and I and others living in this country, the United States of America, how would you say that we have suffered unjustly for the name of Christ?

"And every time a Christian endures suffering and holds on to this truth instead of giving up in unbelief, cynicism, or bitterness, he is revealing God’s glory to the world by saying the height of God’s value is even greater than the depth of pain in suffering."

Suffering beautifully to exalt God and His Glory... Wow!

It's an encouragement to weaker brothers and sisters.

Thanks for posting this.
