Japan is a close ally and so a "friend." This is one reason it is hard to be President. In my small way, I have had to represent Torrey in days of corporate mourning representing the chums in the Institute. I pray for our President daily facing such a burden. The argument turns against itself. Who knows what is the right thing to do and in what measure, but standing in criticism might be the worst thing to do. The cameras draw both the coast of Japan and its nuclear plants as well as a brackets chart too close to our eyes.
