		<description>Very profound. The flip side of what you say is just as interesting, though: murder is not a fundamental sin, in the sense that there is always something more basic that motivates it. It grows out of other sins that we all are unfortunately familiar with: envy, anger, lust, and so on. That&#039;s why murder isn&#039;t on the traditional list of the seven capital vices.

Like your point, this should shock us into realizing that we really aren&#039;t that different, at bottom, from the murderer -- we all have the seeds of murder in our hearts.</description>

		<description>Well said.  Murder to acquire for oneself is the opposite of what our Lord did in pouring out his life in order to make others rich, but our imaginations are trained by the world through advertising to delight in acquisition for our own sake.</description>
