Perhaps these folks need to crack open a bible, when Paul spoke of those in authority over us in the realm of the government of man. He always encouraged his readers to submit, respect, and pray for those who hold those positions.
Romans 13:1-2
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

2 Corinthians 5:1
1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Paul says, “We would rather be absent from the body and present with the Lord, so we labor that whether present or absent, we are accepted of Him.”

Paul’s thought process is desiring what is eternal over what is temporal, in calling us to lay hold of eternal life, to glory in nothing but the Lord.

These deceived folks have it backwards.
