"If the story is true, I can only assume that William F. Buckley was disinheriting the child to punish another family member."

Seems like a reasonable assumption.

Anyways, my guess is that William F. Buckley will have a good legacy anyways. Rather similar to Martin Luther King who has a good legacy despite being an adulterer. Or John F. Kennedy who was also an adulterer.

Did MLK and JFK suffer scandal for their adulterous behavior back in their day when they were alive?

Is it better back then when there wasn't so much awareness? Or is it better now when folks know about Tiger, Senator John Edwards, former Pres. Bill Clinton, Gov. Mark Sanford?

I note that celebrities -- not politicians, celebrities -- compound their sins by causing scandal; seeing them behaving badly encourages others to do likewise.

Truth Unites...

Google says Jonathan was born in 2000, so he can't have done anything to warrant such hateful treatment. If the story is true, I can only assume that William F. Buckley was disinheriting the child to punish another family member.

Why was William F. Buckley so angry at Jonathan to have written such a thing? What did Jonathan do, if anything, to merit such hurtful remarks?

Thanks for this post, but it’s really worse than all that. What about when “testosterone” reaches out from the grave and kills the living?
Christopher’s father, William F. Buckley died in 2008, leaving an estate of thirty million dollars. Here’s the New York Post quoting William F. Buckley’s will in regards to his grandson Jonathan: "I intentionally make no provision herein for said Jonathan, who for all purposes . . . shall be deemed to have predeceased me,"

“Shall be deemed to have predeceased me.” Wow. Can you imagine being Jonathan and reading that line? For the sake of money William F. Buckley reaches out from the grave and strangles his grandson.
Well, I guess here we have like son like father.

But there's more. In that one line, drawn up for the purpose of distributing money, William F. Buckley suffocated his reputation as a Christian thinker. For the sake of money.
