R,
Nice assertion. But "in different ways" is just nonsense. If it is not the same, it is not the same. If there is a grab of moral authority over private behavior, let's hear it.

And the previous administration did the same, but in different ways. Jesus wouldn't side with the Left or Right - depending on the issue both of which break with God.

R,
No conflation at all. It was Obama to who took moral authority. It is he who conflated the power of government with the morality of religious teaching. This is the Left's way. Always has been, always will.

Collin Brendemuehl,
You seem to be conflating Christianity with government. What politician is moral? Would Jesus compromise himself and vote for the lesser of two evils? Of course not!

When will we become radical? What will it take? When will we finally start saying out loud, clear, and publicly that President Barak Obama, a disciple of Alinsky along with the HillBillies, holds to such radical Marxist ideals that he must be called a Communist?

Today he used a phrase about banks, some of which did not take TARP funds, that they owe their continued existence to the government.

Obama has made government the source for life and prosperity. That is not only contrary to both Christianity and classic liberal principles, it is an outrightgrab of moral authority into the hands of government.

Vote him out. Vote against him. His efforts are wrong, un-American, and immoral.
