O Lord Christ, comfort your servant David as he goes through these fiery trials. Guard him from the temptations of the Evil One. Strengthen Him and sustain him according to your good and gracious will. Be with his family. Calm their troubled hearts with Your peace that passes all human understanding. If it be your will, grant him recovery. In Your most Holy Name, we pray, for you live and reign with the Father and the Spirit, One God, now and to all eternity. Amen.

Thank you Jeremy and Paul. I have an update on my blog – I was in and out that day and am home recovering. I appreciate everyone’s prayers and concern.

Since there will probably be other posts eventually at the top of David’s blog, I thought I’d link to the post in question for when that happens.
