Albert: I really don&#039;t have anything against liturgy or even the church calendar.  I have a bias against letting that take the place of what I&#039;m about to explain in the last 2 parts of this 6-part series.

		<description>Frank, I should mention to you that your emphasis on the bleak state of humankind before the Advent of the Messiah is entirely appropriate according to the high liturgical traditions of Christianity.

Typically, Advent is supposed to be a Lenten-kind of period for the Church in preparation for the joyous celebration and wonder of the Incarnation, which you&#039;ll remember we have twelve (!) days to celebrate.

You sure you want to stay closer to the low liturgical evangelical traditions? :)

Anyway, don&#039;t be discouraged by the haters!</description>
