Typically, Advent is supposed to be a Lenten-kind of period for the Church in preparation for the joyous celebration and wonder of the Incarnation, which you'll remember we have twelve (!) days to celebrate. You sure you want to stay closer to the low liturgical evangelical traditions? :) Anyway, don't be discouraged by the haters!
