The one's I've read have always been more like puff pieces than reviews in the sense of critical articles. I'm rather neutral on the idea myself, but I can see how they might interest people who have always wondered what it would be like to visit a particular church. Technology, though, has made them somewhat outdated. A lot of churches make their sermons available online in audio/video format so you can already find out what the preaching is like.
