<description>The New York Times carries some wonderful before and after photographs of the Berlin Wall: &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2009/11/09/world/europe/20091109-berlinwallthennow.html?ref=global-home&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;A Division Through Time&lt;/a&gt;. <description>Hello David
I just finished reading your article in Chr.COURIER.It remined me of a work of art I made a year after the fall of the wall,at which time, if you remember, the gulf war started by
Bush #1 Both of these events coming exactly
a year apart, inspired me to create one of my only politically motivated works of art.It is called &quot;THE WALL&quot; It depicts the coming down of the wall by individuals using chisels and hammers knocking holes in the wall. Also people crawling through and helping each other climb over. The work ends in darkness with a soldier in a gas mask and gun on the other side welcoming an individual who is still knocking the wall down. The work is a response to my
profound disappointment where we once again resort to the gun and war to resolve our differences. That dark spiritual force is still present, the most high indead rules misteriously.

.PS.
David ,if interested I am willing to email a JPEG
