		<description>Thanks, a great statement of what it is to be evangelical. However I sense something of a discontinuity between the first three points and the last. Though the first three points are &#039;historical reality&#039; and can be seen throughout evangelicalism, the fourth seems more like an ideal which we should strive after, but is (and has not) always been a characteristic of evangelicals. I would not dare to defend the claim that what distinguishes evangelicalism from either liberalism or Catholicism is humility.</description>
