    given the vast theological and social differences between those people who call themselves evangelicals that an evangelical is a traditional Christian who wants you to be one too? Or is it merely (to paraphrase a student) a fundamentalist who watches The Office?

      Well, logging on from that arch-bastion of fundamentalism, Bob Jones University, I’m going to have to say evangelicalism must be more than that, since The Office is pretty popular around here too.

      (I know real question is deeper than that, but all I have time for is a light response right now.)
